Leadership Bios

Doug Schultz joined Waste Remedies in December 2008 as Chief Operating Officer and was appointed President of the Company in October 2009. Mr. Schultz is responsible for all aspects of Waste Remedies business. Prior to joining Waste Remedies, Mr. Schultz was Chief Financial Officer for Alarm One, Inc., a major residential security alarm company serving customers throughout the continental United States. Prior to Alarm One, Mr. Schultz held various senior executive level positions with a number of large financial services organizations. Mr. Schultz holds a BS degree in Industrial Management from Purdue University and a MBA in Finance from DePaul University. He is also a Certified Public Accountant.

Scott Blue joined Waste Remedies in 2008 and has over 7 years of experience in the solid waste industry. Prior to joining Waste Remedies Scott worked at Smurfit Stone as the National Account Program Manager. Scott was accountable for $20K new, monthly, organic revenue and responsible for deliverables of 20,000 account locations nationwide including monthly market reviews to find new savings revenue. Since coming to Waste Remedies, Scott has been in charge of our Recycling/Right Sizing Initiative and delivered over $115K net savings to one of his major accounts.

Barb Reese has been at Waste Remedies since the company was founded in 1995. Since joining Waste Remedies, Barb has overseen all aspects of the billing/auditing department. She has also played a major role in developing the company's auditing software and creates specialized reports for clients. Prior to Waste Remedies, Barb served as the VP of Finance of Fred Dowie Catering for 10 years. Barb has a degree from American Institute of Business in Accounting and Computer Programming.

Bridget Reeves joined Waste Remedies in 2006 and has over 20 years of experience in financial/operational accounting. As the Controller, Bridget manages the day-to-day accounting operations and oversees all human resource, benefits, and payroll functions. She also prepares monthly financial statements, borrowing bases and cashflow forecasts. Prior to Waste Remedies, Bridget was the VP/Controller for SLP Capital, a specialty finance company focused on lending in the security alarm industry. She has a Bachelor's Degree in accounting from Illinois State University and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Jeff Roney joined Waste Remedies in 2009 and has over 10 years experience in the waste consulting industry. Prior to joining Waste Remedies, Jeff worked for Smurfit-Stone Container Corporation in the areas of customer service, account management, savings consulting, human resources, and management. As Operations Manager for Waste Remedies, he oversees the customer service and savings consulting functions as well has having direct account management responsibilities. Jeff received a B.A. in Sociology from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale.

David Fenton joined Waste Remedies as Director, Business Development in September 2010. He has over 20 years experience in all aspects of the waste management industry, including sales and marketing, hauling/landfill operations, recycling, finance, municipal affairs, mergers and acquisitions. Prior to Waste Remedies, David worked as a National Account Executive for Oakleaf Waste Management delivering waste and recycling contracts valued at more than 150 million dollars since 2005.
